2018 Fridays @ Five Summer Concert Series on the Town Square 

Looking for something free and exciting to do in downtown Martinsburg on a Friday afternoon this summer? Come to Fridays @ Five for a taste of great music and fun!

Fridays @ Five  at the Town Square, Presenting Sponsor by Gibson & Associates, Sponsor by The Martinsburg Convention & Visitors Bureau and Main Street Martinsburg, Bowles Rice Attorney at Law, ERA Liberty Realty – Tina C. Roach & Charla Cody, Dopson & Associates, State Farm Insurance-Kay Lewis Agency, Dawn Newland Agency, hersick+webster creative partners, The Design Center-Sue Marks, Shepherd University-Martinsburg and Roger & Gula Engle-Friends of Main Street Martinsburg.  A series of free outdoor concerts by well-known musicians, bands and Martinsburg artists that will liven up your spirits and maybe even get you into a dancing mood. Bands will perform a wide variety of indigenous musical styles, including jazz, rock, Bluegrass, pop, Classic Rock, Country and unique Americana and more. You can bring your own chairs or blankets and sit on the ground. The front of the stage on the South lawn is reserved for dancing. There is no admission charge to the Town square. The concert series runs from June 1st through August 31st …..every Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Exciting this year at Friday’s @ Five Summer Concert series we will have the Martinsburg Farmers Market housed on the East King Street – Town Square from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm from now to September29th . To whet your appetite, here is a list of products you’ll be able to enjoy from the market this year: fresh fruits & veggies, fresh & dried herbs, nutritious pastured non-GMO beef, chicken and pork, eggs, jams and jellies, breads, baked goods, coffee beans, soup, soaps, lotions, sugar scrubs, salves and lip balm, flowers, yarn and locally made gourmet popcorn.  It’s going to be a fun season!  Buy local and buy fresh!

Beverages are also offered for sale. You also may enjoy a picnic dinner from one of our downtown Restaurants .

Concerts start at 5:00 p.m. and usually last until 7:00pm. The Town Square is blocked off  between  BB&T Drive-Thru and Queen Street. It is within convenient walking distance from all downtown businesses.

Pets are allowed in the square during the concerts, provided they are on a leash no longer than six feet at all times. If they display aggressive behavior the owner may be asked to remove them.
