The Juneteenth 2025 celebration committee will be hosting a Juneteenth event on June 22nd, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. downtown Martinsburg, West Virginia starting at the corner of Burke Street where the food trucks and vendors will be down to the Town Square at King and Queen Street where the entertainment will be. This Juneteenth program is open to everyone. These Juneteenth celebrations are meant to be inclusive and welcoming to all, regardless of their races. This program is a learning program on how slaves finally got the information they needed to learn that they were free by the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, ratified in 1865, legally abolished slavery nationwide.
